Hello everyone!

Business Agility is enabled when cross-team collaboration happens with a strong focus on outcomes and building the right product for our customers, but we all know that it's not an easy thing to do. When it happens, though, it’s magical to watch!

Here at AgilityHealth®, we recently wrapped a six-month product build that touched almost every team across our company - the build of our new AgilityHealth University - and it was a successful example of true cross-team collaboration!

We had a vision in late 2021 of finding a new way to enable our partners and customers to make measurement and continuous improvement work using our AgilityHealth platform…we wanted to find a way to be able to scale our learning in a way that we felt truly reflected our company and our platform. After evaluating our current eLearning solution, we decided we needed to change to a more robust platform that we could house on our Microsoft Azure site, giving us more control over both design and security. Making this move would involve our Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Database Architecture teams to work together to build our new eLearning home and move the existing data for our customers.

While these efforts were underway, our Enablement team began the process of evaluating and updating our content and our Partner team started planning a new learning track to be released later this year. Our Strategist team helped with testing, and our Sales and Customer Success teams were tasked with helping to communicate the changes to our customers. Our Finance team worked to update invoicing processes for the new site and to ensure that receipts would contain all of the correct information.

Each and every one of our teams touched this new product launch…and we were able to do it on time and saved $$ as well! We worked together to test our new Epic process whereby we identified one of our leaders as the Product Owner, the team planned in weekly iterations (yes one week sprints really works for us!) and we made sure we tied the work back to one of our strategic outcomes/OKRs for the year.

We just wanted to highlight this story of true cross-functional outcomes driven teamwork.

Agile & Beyond 2022 Recap

One of the things we all love about agile practices is "people over process", and one of the things we have missed over the last couple of years is true in-person interaction. We were able to get back in-person with about 600 of you at the Agile & Beyond 2022 conference in Detroit, Michigan last month and it felt amazing! Sally presented two different sessions - one Talent Development and another on the Top Predictors of Team Performance. Everyone was very engaged, and were were energized to be in the same room as she shared her expertise and knowledge.

We hope to see you at either Agile 2022 in Nashville, TN or the SAFe® Summit in Aurora, CO!

Dust off your annual OKRs

We have seemingly time-traveled and already hit the mid-year mark! Exactly where did the days, weeks and months go since we began 2022? It's a question we are all asking ourselves. Another popular, and more important, question is: "How are we tracking against our annual OKRs?".

Now that we are approaching the back-half of the year, how are your OKRs doing? Are they out in the open, being discussed often? Or, are they shoved aside collecting dust?

No matter the state of your OKRs, it's important to understand that their success is your organization's success. Last month during our first virtual AgilityHealth Customer Summit, our two amazing and insightful Enterprise Business Agility Strategists, Bob Posukonis and Bryan Tew, led a deep dive discussion on Demystifying Outcomes. If you missed it, click below to check out the replay of that deep dive and the rest of our Customer Summit.

We love to hear from you, so please drop us a note and let us know how your OKRs are stacking up against the remainder of the year.
