AgilityHealth®: What Business Agility Means to Us

Hello everyone!

With the annual Business Agility Conference just around the corner, I thought it would be a good time to reflect on what Business Agility means to us at AgilityHealth^®. We started our journey teaching Enterprise Business Agility^® (EBA) in 2016—it’s hard to believe it’s been 6 years! The definition of Business Agility below is a summary of what the many leaders have shared with us:

“Business Agility is the ability to respond to change, learn and pivot, deliver at speed and thrive in a competitive market.”

The journey towards business agility requires understanding where you are today from a maturity perspective then investing in growth each quarter. Watch and share this Enterprise Business Agility video which has resonated well with executives and senior leaders:

If your organization is in the midst of your transformation or thinking about starting one, you can measure your current maturity using the EBA Assessment or the SAFe Business Agility radar within AgilityHealth platform. We also teach Leaders and Enterprise Coaches how to assess and develop a strategy around EBA in our Enterprise Business Agility Strategist workshop.

As part of our passion for bringing business agility to the world, we became founding members of the Business Agility Institute in 2016. Our organizations have supported each other for the last six years, through conferences, joint presentations, the annual State of Business Agility report, and through our new report on the Top Predictors of Team Performance.

We’ve also continued to expand our partnership with Scaled Agile which now has 8 radars available to use on the SAFe community site and for our AgilityHealth customers.

Mature Teams Deliver More Value, FASTER

At their core, these suggestions are a great example of the “Inspect and Adapt” practices that have made Agile and Lean so successful and impactful. They can also play a key role in helping you “Deliver More, With Less” over time. In addition, they’re a critical enabler to working in sustainable ways, with high levels of commitment across your teams.
