Welcome to 2023! I hope you took time over the holidays to rest, recharge, and spend time with your family and friends.
Several years ago, a colleague of mine shared the habit of selecting a word as their focus for the year, and it’s a habit that we can use as companies as well. When I think about what we need for 2023, the word that keeps coming back to me is “resilience”. How can we create resilient teams and organizations in the face of this recession and everything that keeps hitting us?

We shared the three strategies you can use to mitigate these risks:
Leverage DATA to identify and remove obstacles impeding FLOW and performance
Focus on VALUE and outcome delivery. Do discovery before you deliver
Focus on your PEOPLE - engage, communicate & develop team members
When we look at leveraging data to identify and remove obstacles for teams, there are so many ways we can do this, but we really should hone in on the five target performance metrics of Predictability, Value Delivered, Time to Market, Quality, and Response to Change.
Continuous Improvement Champions, or CIC for short, is a new certification we started in 2021 as part of the evolution of AgilityHealth with our customers. But what does a CIC do? They are integral in helping with the growth planning process, especially on the leadership level when it comes to managing Organizational Growth Items and Enterprise Growth Items. We all need someone that can lead our continuous improvement programs and work with leaders to help them prioritize the needs of the teams and commit to action.
Another key role of the CIC is to understand the data and insights in AgilityHealth and help identify where to invest and prioritize for organizational growth. CICs learn how to be experts at rolling up data and analyzing the results of teams and multi-teams.
